Sony raises the bar for high performance CD-R/RW burning again with its new 52X max. CD-RW drive. The CRX230AE can create a full CD-R disc in less than two minutes or a full CD-RW disc in about four minutes.

The drive features Power-Burn drive conformed buffer underrun protection technology. Installation of the CRX230AE into small footprint desktop computer cases is easier thanks to the drive's shorter length.
